Rules and Regulations
- Academic session starts at the college as per Gauhati University regulations. A copy of the Academic Calendar will be enclosed with the prospectus.
- Attendance of the students are compulsory and the students who have less than 75% attendance will not be allowed to sit as a regular student either in the college or university examination.
Students irrespective of HS and Degree classes must have to appear in all the examinations conducted by the college during an academic session.
- An examination committee formed by the authority will conduct all the examinations.
- The schedule and duty of the tutorial and other college examinations will be given in due course of time.
- Students must maintain discipline in the college, violation of the rules and regulations of the college will invite punitive actions like transfer certificate or expulsion from the college.
- Any students found indulging in ragging or any other such activities will be expelled from the college.
- College uniform is compulsory for all the students.
- Students Union will function under the control and guidance of the college authorities.
- All power of maintenance of discipline are vested with the Principal and his/her decision shall be final in all matters.
- Only those Societies and Associations which have been recognized by the Principal shall have the facilities of using the college premises.
- Bringing Identity Cards to college is compulsory for all students.
- Filled Up Registration Forms Should Be Submitted In The Office Within The Stipulated Time As Fixed By The College Office. No Registration Form Will Be Received After Such Time.
- For pass certificate from the college one has to apply one day ahead and for a transfer certificate application must be made at least two days ahead.
- The students must park their vehicles at the parking area and are prohibited from parking their vehicles at any other place.

Part-1

The institution has been making higher education accessible to backward communities like tea community through out its journey since 1970.

Part- 2
(For Students)
- Ragging is strictly prohibited: any student found indulging in any form of ragging or harassment to fellow student is liable for expulsion from the college. Guardians to sign an undertaking at the time of admission as per the verdict of the Hon’ble Supreme court of India in this regard.
- Students must attend their classes regularly and must appear in all internal examination and academic activities of the college.
- Ill treatment to classmates, teachers and employees will be considered as an offence.
- Strict silence should be maintained during class hours by other students who are not having class.
- Students are strictly forbidden to have in their position at any time under any context fire arms, explosives, dangerous chemicals and any other kind of arms.
- Obscene writings are not allowed in the campus.
- No students will be allowed entry in the campus without helmet while riding a bike.
- Damage to college property will be seriously viewed and dealt with.
- While leaving the class room, common room students are required to see that switches of lights and fans are turned off.
- College uniform and carrying of identity card is mandatory for all students as it is the marker of their identity as students.
- Minimum percentage of attendance as prescribed by the affiliating university is a must for all students to appear in examination.
- Cheating in examination will be dealt with sternly as per university guideline.
- Students are not to involve in spreading communal feelings, hatred and racism. If found involved in such activities will be dealt with by Disciplinary Action Committee.
- Must keep the college environment clean, healthy and fair.
- Must take part in extension activities.
Must fulfil the eligibility criteria to contest in Student Union Election as per student union constitution and Lyngdoh Commission recommendation.
