           Thank you for choosing our college as your choice of Higher Education. As you might be aware that LOKD College is one of the oldest institutions in Sonitpur, Assam. Named after the polymath freedom fighter Lokanayak Omeo Kumar Das and sprouting out of the long cherished Dreams of the denizens of a large vicinity in between Kharupetia and Tezpur for quality Higher Education, LOKD College (HEI) has been living up to the expectations of all concerned till date.

                Today the college has sprung up to be the best pioneering center for academic excellence. Affiliated to Gauhati University, the college provides not only a good education but also provides education, training and counselling in many extra-curricular activities that range from NCC, Indoor Sports and Open and Distant Learning.

                   Adhering to the motto of Higher Education “Higher Education with Direction”, our college has left no stone unturned in its Endeavour to lay the right foundation for Higher Education for our posterity.
